It has beautiful mountainous with hills and valleys crisscrossing the landscape. Hilly topography of Coorg is interspersed with grassy downs, paddy fields, sloping glades, gorges & deep valleys. It formed by the river Pennar   that cuts through the Erramala hills. This nature’s hidden gem is popularly known as the  Grand Canyon of India. People from various places visit & get bewitched by its beauty. There are several other attractions in and near the village that attract visitors, the most special being the ancient, magnificent Gandikota fort that sits majestically on top of the gorge.
